I teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in genetics, genomics and bioinformatics at the University of Vigo.

Methodological focus

In my courses, students acquire practical experience in:

• Genome annotation and comparative genomics
• Analysis of gene structure and functional elements
• RNA-Seq data analysis and differential gene expression

Supervision

I have supervised:

• 1 PhD thesis
• 4 Master’s theses (TFM)
• 9 Bachelor’s theses (TFG)

Supervised projects are mainly related to genomics, transcriptomics and microbiome analysis in marine organisms and aquaculture-related systems.
